2 Month Anniversary

2 months-kinda a random anniversary to be mentioning but I need to give a shout out of thanks to my husband. For his understanding and kindness and always trying to help me out. He always tries to help out with dinner/breakfast/any meal and has helped with dishes on quite a few occassions(we don't have a dishwasher, so that's a pretty big deal) and much more-Thank you. I take him for granted more often than I should (well I never should really) especially since we've been married-he's always there and kinda stuck with me, but I'm certainly grateful for it cause I'm sure there's been times when he's wanted to run away from me :). It always tends to hit Friday nights when he's gone away at the hotel and I come home to an empty house knowing he won't be coming home at all that night and I miss him like crazy and realize how I am nothing without him. He's one of a kind and I got the best husband around. Happy Anniversary. Thank you for everything Matt, I love you forever.

Congrats Cass!!

My little sister Cassie competed in Jr. Miss last Saturday and she did fantastic! I got to be her 'hostess mom' where I was backstage during the whole thing during her hair, fixing her makeup, and making sure she had everything ready between events. It was quite a bit of work but it was way fun. She looked beautiful. She won in 3 events: interview, fitness, and 'be your best self'. I think that totals to about $1,000 in scholarship money and $50 cash. I think she should have won, especially after winning those 3, but it wasn't my call. It was fun to watch her and be a part of it all.
And kudos to Matt-he hurried after his big game to come to the pageant to support Cassie, and sat with my family without me (because I was backstage). Thank you Matt, you couldn't be more awesome of a husband!

INTERCEPTION!!

GO HUBBY!!

I couldn't be prouder of my hubby!! He played an amazing game on Saturday. As of right now, he holds the first and only interception for BYU this season! He also got a QB sack, another tackle, and a hurry(whatever that means). My voice was pretty much gone by the end of the game. When he got the interception, I literally lost my breathe and had to stop screaming and try and breathe deeply for a few seconds. I didn't hear what the commentators said on tv (cause I was there live) but I heard that they said some really good things about Matt, and to look out for him in the future-he's a great player and has a lot potential his way. I got to talk to his defensive coach, Steve Kaufusi, Sunday night at the wives club fireside and he said that Matt played really well and it was exciting for him to watch as a coach, to see one of his players step up and show it on the field. He said it's given them as coaches a lot more faith in him and it was fun to see him taking those stepping stones and continuing in getting better. WAY TO GO!!!.....Keep it up and we'll have a celebrity in no time :)
