is what I am at the moment ... stuck at Denver airport for another 4 hours ... and I've already been here for an hour.
We apparently clicked the wrong button when booking my flight and I ended up with a five hour layover on my way to Oklahoma.
So I may actually get a little bit more caught up on posting ... lets see shall we ...
Matt is already in Dallas, Texas with the team. They had a chance to go to the amazing stadium and walk around for awhile ... he says it's insane and can't be described - I'll take lots of pictures for everyone.

LIFE
School started yesterday! I can't believe it's that time again
I'm taking it easy - 2 classes ... Matt's got his work cut out for him but he'll do fabulous
We had our last Friday night date night 4 days ago: UP at the dollar theatre
1st football game THIS Saturday!
Yes...I'll be there in Texas at the game
Today I was made full time/salary at work ... I'm in the big leagues now ha
(I will continue to go to school, just part time and year round)
Our new car is absolutely fantastic! Love it!
I made a mess of the kitchen on Sunday - ruined a batch a bread (I added one too many cups of flour...apparently I can't count), dinner, sugar cookies, more bread making...we're still trying to catch up on all the dishes I dirtied he he
Bread making is my new favorite thing ... I'm all homemakey and domestic kinda
Matt = lots of bruises and usually pretty sore
We survived fall camp...yay! Matt's not injured like many of the other players...football is going well and as far as I know Matt is doing amazingly awesome - he did block a field goal...that's pretty impressive if you ask me
We just called to be Primary Teachers! 10-12 year olds ha
Happy Birthday to Mike (bro) and Cassie (sis)
Dinner at Tepanyaki celebrating all of our birthdays ... amazing! (food, fun, entertainment, all categories)
BBQ at the Winwards and rest of the Putnam clan ... fabulous ... Matt was soaked from water balloon attackage and the hose (he's so fun with his nephews and nieces, I love it)
Matt finished re-reading the 6th Harry Potter and a Clive Cussler novel and is now working on a Tom Clancy one, a different Clive Cussler one, and Harry Potter 5 (again) ... and yes, he's reading them all at the same time...switching daily on which one he wants to read
The library is my new best friend - the movies section that is...yay for free checkouts!! I currently have 'That Thing You Do' and 'Forrest Gump'
I played my cello for a couple hours a little while ago and didn't want to put it down ... I have been re-inspired to practice my heart out on my lovely cello Edwardo Carmello
Our living quarters have been re-arranged in the last few months ... some pictures to come if I remember
We got new phones awhile back ... if you don't have our new numbers...contact us in some other fashion until you do :P
I've got the hubbiest ever!
Our little plants are doing suprisingly well ... I'm so proud of them....I'll take pics and put those up too
I made my mom's chicken and rice for the first time a week and a half ago (for the husband and wives football dinner) and am still finishing the leftovers....we were late and I made a lot a lot a lot
My 'San Diego Zoo' post had the record-breaking of total comments made on any one of my posts ... guess horny tortoises will do that ha...glad you all enjoyed and thought it just as much hilarious as we did
Well that's all I can think of at the moment ... and it's my bed time ... Toodles!

SD Day 4 - Sea World-tacular
Sea World = Awesome! We went back for another day ... so there's even more pictures of Sea World to come. Just like the zoo - we had a blast. Oh boy, do I wish we were back there! I've been trying to so hard to get all of our vacation up here before school started but it looks like it's not quite gonna happen - school starts tomorrow :(.
Well here's another bajillion pictures and there's a couple videos in there too so be on the look out ... none quite as good as tortoises in the mood ...
Anyways .... we had a blast and hopefully you will too looking at the pictures! Enjoy!
The fabulous Shamu
The Cirque De Soleil show:

Petting manarays

Is this not the funniest picture you've seen of a dolphin ... sneakily and stealthily approaching

the sea lions were absolutely hilarious - you could feed them and boy did they know if you had food ... and it's like they would yell/beg you to give the fish to them - just watch this feeding frenzy and you'll understand ... p.s. it's loud

The shark exhibit:
Sorry the pics are dark ... it was dark in there and hard to get a good pic so look closely/where's waldo ... well in this case a shark (but I guess the shark's name could be Waldo)

For our expensive anniversary meal we had 'Dinner with Shamu' - buffet right next to one of their tanks and Shamu did tricks for us and such while we ate ... it was pretty cool

Yes, Matt is actually touching Shamu!! It was probably one of the coolest things of our whole trip ... I think. We kinda weren't supposed to be there but long story short ... we ended up in Shamu stadium when it was 'closed' and a couple of the whales were in the tank. Well we were just standing there watching them when this one came over to us and just sat there. It was so neat - it was like he/she was lonely and liked us. The whale was making noises like it talking to us and just hanging out with us. The whale literally stayed there for 10/15 minutes. It was so cute and amazing. And...how many people can say they've touched a killer whale in their lifetime?
